Dave Whicker is a seasoned professional with over 20 years experience of being behind the decks. He has played in hundreds of bars and clubs all over the UK & Europe as well as hosting many international shows & competitions on stage.
He now focuses his attention completely on weddings where he has had the privilege of working with hundreds of happy couples from across the country. In addition to weddings he also provides his services at corporate events and has a number of high profile clients around the Greater Manchester area.
He only uses top of the range sound & lighting equipment from brands like Pioneer, Serato, QSC, ADJ & Yamaha.

Dave Whicker originally comes from Sedbergh, a sleepy town in Cumbria just outside The Lake District. He has always had a passion for music since picking up a guitar for the first time at only nine years old! That passion continued to grow and by the age of fifteen he began experimenting on Technics turntables and the DJ seed had been planted!
Dave moved to Manchester in 2000 and whilst working in a student bar on Oxford Road he became inspired by some of the resident DJs to take the next step towards becoming a DJ himself. After taking on residencies in some of the local student bars/clubs Dave's passion for DJing grew as he played to bigger crowds and met more influential people in the industry.
In 2006 Dave was making a name for himself in the Manchester nightlife scene and when a call came asking him to branch out abroad he jumped at the opportunity. He moved to Corfu in Greece where he held his first international residency in Sidari. From then he went on to complete four more seasons in Greece, also playing in Laganas in Zante. As well as nightclubs, he was playing beach parties, hosting events and also had his own show for three years on Zante's 'Island FM'.
After his beautiful daughter Tailer was born, Dave moved permanently back to England. He was then living in Coventry and continued to hold residencies up and down the UK. He spent a few years frequenting various clubs around London before finally moving back to Manchester in 2013 to move full time into the wedding industry!
